January 24th - Our special day of International Alagille Syndrome Awareness recognized around the globe. Started by the ALGSA, this special day is a day to bring Alagille Syndrome to the forefront, celebrate ALGS families and increase knowledge with physicians, scientists, family and friends! Together we can use our voices to help everyone become #ALGSAware! Join us this International Alagille Syndrome Awareness Day in bringing hope to the ALGS community. Starting Jan 28th, the ALGSA will offer recurring virtual monthly support groups for bereaved individuals and family members who have lost a loved one with ALGS. These groups are open internationally and are in English. Facilitated by Dr. Al Freedman, the support groups were created to offer a loving, compassionate, and safe space with a licensed psychologist and rare disease dad who understands personally and professionally. Please register in advance for the support groups for Jan and Feb.
