RARE Bear Program

The RARE Bear program, a RARE Science initiative, is a grassroots community-driven outreach for kids with rare disease. Community volunteers create one-of-a-kind teddy bears for one-of-a-kind “rare” kids. RARE Science is a nonprofit research organization that focuses on accelerating identification of more immediate therapeutic solutions for kids with rare disease potentially through repurposing currently approved drugs and other therapeutic approaches. On July 14, 2017, RARE Science and our dear friends at Amplyx Pharmaceuticals, and in collaboration with the Alagille Syndrome Alliance, supported the kids in the RARE Bears program by committing to stuffing and sewing up 100 RARE Bears! In addition, their generous donation helped RARE Science ship RARE Bears to kids with Alagille Syndrome around the world.

Thank you, RARE Science, for this wonderful opportunity to raise awareness for ALGS. Thank you Amplyx for having a long time commitment to kids with Alagille Syndrome and supporting the ALGSA.
